The House and Senate have released revenue proposals that will help to fund vital public services while fixing the upside-down tax code. The House proposals are up for a hearing on Thursday, April 3, and they need your help. Please sign in PRO on these bills before Thursday morning.

  • HB 2045 raises Business and Occupation taxes on high-income businesses.
  • HB 2046 creates a tax on intangible property for folks with more than $50 million.
  • HB 2049 eliminates the arbitrary cap on state & local property tax revenue growth.

The Senate heard similar proposals on Monday evening, with opposition from folks like Tim Eyman & the Association of Washington Business. Please sign in PRO on these revenue proposals to counteract those who would balance the budget on the backs of state employees. Logo
