A big thank you to Jakob from the Retired Public Employees Council (RPEC) for joining this week’s UNITY meeting and delivering an excellent presentation on retirement planning.

The session covered a wide range of topics, and members came prepared with thoughtful questions that led to a great discussion. We also appreciate everyone who attended and helped make the presentation so engaging.

One of the recurring themes throughout the presentation was that the accompanying Retirement Planning Handbook expands on many of the topics covered. To make those resources easy to access, we’ve included links below to download both the handbook and the presentation slides.

Based on the positive response from members, we’re working with RPEC to make retirement planning presentations a regular part of UNITY, with the goal of offering them every six months. We also hope to provide future presentations during both the 12:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. UNITY meetings, if RPEC’s schedule allows.
