WPEA will begin negotiations for your upcoming 2027-2029 contract April 28th.

We are looking for four bargaining team members and one alternate.
Bargaining team members must be WPEA members in good standing (dues paying)
Positions
2 bargaining team representative from the LA group
1 bargaining team representative from Comms
1 bargaining team representative from Policy
1 bargaining team alternate from any group
Time Commitment
The bargaining team will need to have several 1-2 hour sessions outside of work hours prior to April 28th starting no later than the week of April 6th.
Voting for positions will take place Thursday, March 19th^ 12pm through Monday, March 23rd 5pm via Election Runner.
Bargaining dates for house and coalition compensation bargaining are as outlined below at this time.

July 14th Coalition bargaining 9:00 am-4:00 pm

August 11th Coalition bargaining 9:00 am-4:00 pm
August 18th Coalition bargaining 9:00-4:00 pm
Sept. 1st 1:00pm-4:00 pm
Sept. 22 1:00pm-4:00pm

It is not too late to sign up for the Union to be eligible to nominate and vote on your bargaining team and contract.
