Help Non-Members Stay Informed—Here’s How
Here’s what we’re sending: Welcome Email (Day 1) (https://us3.campaign-archive.com/?u=811efc1cd3c24aed9809a2a9a&%3Bid=85f5c2a542%29%40%40ANCHOR0%40%40%40%40ANCHOR1%40%40
How You Can Use This to Organize
These emails give you a great conversation starter when talking to non-members. Just ask:
“Hey, have you been getting your union emails or texts?”
✅ If they say yes – Ask if they have any questions and invite them to a union meeting like UNITY or an upcoming action (more on upcoming actions soon!)
❌ If they say no – That’s an opportunity! Collect their personal email and/or phone number and send it to us at solidarity@wpea.org along with their first and last name so we can get them added.
Additional Resources for Talking to Non-Members
**
Non-Member Webpage – This page has a video orientation, dues info, benefits details, a join form, and a Discord invite that’s open to all workers.
Business Cards for Non-Members – We have small, handy cards you can give to non-members or leave on desks. These direct them to the non-member webpage. You can even write your own contact info on them if you want to keep the conversation going.
➡️ Want a stack of 50? Just email solidarity@wpea.org with your name, employer, and shipping address, and we’ll send them to you.
Want to Print Your Own? We also have a printable version available!
Our Strength Comes from Participation
The most powerful thing we can do is engage with each other. Whether you’re having one-on-one conversations, handing out cards, or inviting co-workers to meetings, your participation makes us stronger. The more we connect with our co-workers, the stronger our union becomes.
Thanks for being part of this movement—let’s keep building together!
In Solidarity,
WPEA
