On April 1st, Labor/Management Communications Committee met with HR. Our agenda items included:

  • Impacts of proposed elimination of a vacant Program Specialist 3 position in Running Start. (Under our contract, the Union can bargain the impacts of changes in wages, hours, working conditions, etc.
  • Follow up to Union information request for the total number of impacted WPEA-represented positions from July 1, 2025 to current due to layoffs (including bumping), unfilled positions, eliminated positions.
  • Program viability discussions; concerns for program viability matrix.
  • Status update on COLA back-pay pay-out plans.
  • Multilingual premium pay, Article 42.21. Are there employees who should receive the multilingual premium but don’t?
