Heartfelt thanks to the 34 Bellevue College staff who attended today’s member meeting.

We went over contract bargaining and what we gained: additional leave time, more time for new employee orientations, improved suspended operations language, clearing blackout periods, and more.

Have you wondered why the BC faculty Union is so powerful? Numbers. They have a team of leaders who each have one or two specific roles–and they’re backed by the support of hundreds of BC faculty.

We could build classified staff strength at Bellevue if every WPEA member would do just one thing.

• Do you have ideas for organizing activities?
• Are you great with details?
• Can you write a great web post?
• Do you understand college policies or the RCW?
