I wanted to share some important information with everyone whose email WPEA has on file. If you believe any of your coworkers do not engage with WPEA but would benefit from this message, please feel free to forward it along.

I’m aware that there have been recent updates to position descriptions (PDs), and I’d like to offer some guidance if you are asked to sign a PD without sufficient time to review it thoroughly. In such cases, WPEA recommends signing “in receipt of” followed by your initials. This simply acknowledges that you’ve received the document, it does not indicate agreement with its contents.

As you review each section of your PD, pay close attention to any additions or removals of duties. If you notice any discrepancies or have concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me directly so we can discuss the matter further.

Linked here is WPEA’s breakdown of position descriptions and position reviews .
