As you may have noticed, we are short WPEA shop stewards at TCC. We know you all work very hard and have busy lives outside of work, but we could sure use some more support on campus. Even if you can only give an hour a month.
WE NEED YOU!
As a shop steward, TCC will release you from your regular duties to handle union business on the clock. No shop steward is expected to address any workplace issue alone, but our members should be making decisions for the union, not just WPEA staff.
Please let your WPEA Staff Rep. Judy Lumm know if you’re interested in hearing more about being a WPEA shop steward. Zoom trainings are offered every month, but Judy would gladly provide in-person training as well.
