Labor Day is more than just a day off. It’s a chance to celebrate who we are, what we’ve won, and the solidarity that keeps us going. Across Washington, union members are rallying, picnicking, marching, and making memories this Labor Day weekend. You’re invited to be part of it.

We’re proud to stand with our union siblings at events across the state, from Olympia to Chehalis, Seattle to Lakewood. Whether you’re bringing your family to a picnic, joining a march for justice, or showing up to support public workers, you’ll be part of something powerful: workers rising together.

WPEA members, spread the word. Talk with coworkers about the events happening near you. Let others know what you’re planning to attend, or come together to plan something new. This is a great moment to reconnect, share stories, and collaborate on what’s next.

Each of us has a role to play in building a stronger labor movement. Sometimes that means showing up to fight. Other times, it means showing up to celebrate. This Labor Day, let’s do both.

Check out the full list of upcoming events below

Together, we are the union. Let’s keep growing it with every conversation, every gathering, and every act of solidarity.
