Our important hearing is today, and we want to ensure everyone is prepared and able to participate—whether in-person or virtually.

We hope that this hearing will resolve these four legal questions: 1. Does OFM have an obligation to bargain a two year agreement? 2. Does OFM have an obligation to support funding for that two year agreement? 3. Is OFMs assertion that our previously bargained TAs go away and that we are bargaining ‘from scratch’? 4. Is it bad faith for OFM not to agree to an expedited schedule?

The outcome will set a critical precedent for public sector labor.

Your presence—whether in person or virtually—will send a powerful message about how deeply this issue matters to us as union members.

In Person-

• Request time off – put those requests in as soon as you can.
• If you plan to attend in person, please email solidarity@wpea.org and we will assist you in receiving reimbursement for mileage
• Organize a Carpool or Caravan with coworkers!
• Virtual-
• If attending virtually, join early as the Zoom room has a 250-participant limit.

• Consider organizing or joining a watch party to simplify the virtual process and reduce logistical strain on the court staff.

When: Friday, December 13th, starting at 9:00 AM. Note: Our case will be heard along with 8 others during the same timeslot.
