The Union has filed a Demand to Bargain (DTB) on changes to the Early Learning Center (ELC) staff handbook, including language requiring very advance notice (earlier than our contract states) for staff taking vacation and for using sick leave.
You should be able to schedule a medical appointment without pre-approval from your manager.
ELC teachers and staff have the right to use their accrued sick and vacation leave!
