As we come to the close of a challenging year, I want to take a moment to recognize the strength, resilience, and solidarity each of you has shown. This year has tested us in ways we didn’t expect. Many of our members have faced hardships, and none of us have been untouched by the pressures of these past months.
Through it all, you continued to show up for one another. You supported your coworkers, advocated for safer workplaces, and proved once again what solidarity truly means. Even in difficult times, Highline is stronger because of you.
As we look toward the new year, the Thunderword newspaper is conducting a survey to help better understand the experiences and concerns of the campus. Your voice matters, and taking a few minutes to complete the survey will help ensure that our community has a clearer picture of the climate we’re all navigating. We encourage you to participate and make your voice heard, here is the link * to participate.
(*please note, that you must be on your Highline account to access the Google form)
As we enter the holiday season, I hope you’re able to find moments of rest, connection, and peace. Please remember that you are not alone. Thank you for all you do for your work, your courage, and your unity. Wishing you and your loved ones a safe, meaningful holiday season and a brighter new year.
