Seattle Colleges union members are standing together—join them .

Add your voice to WFSE members, students, and community allies calling on Seattle Colleges leadership to reject the proposed monthly furloughs for classified staff.

Our campuses are already understaffed. Cutting frontline positions further will harm students and weaken our institutions. We demand that leadership seek alternative savings, starting at the top—not by targeting those who make our colleges run.

Collective Action Must Happen Now!

If you’re not at the table, you’re on the menu

Management is delaying again—and they’re not listening. If we don’t get loud now, we risk losing everything we’ve fought for. Every win we’ve ever achieved came not just from words at the table, but from the power of collective action.

When members attend bargaining as observers, they remind the State that our power isn’t in one voice—it’s in many. But showing up at the table isn’t enough. Our Higher Education and General Government teams need a show of strength before they sit down with OFM again.

If there’s no action listed under “Upcoming Local Meetings,” that means we’re waiting on someone like you to get things moving.

Every unit is different. What gets attention at one agency might not make waves at another—but something always can. A sticker day, a group lunch, a coordinated blue shirt photo—each one is a message: we’re watching, and we’re united.

If you’re ready to lead something, fill out the Action Form.

If you’re ready to participate, fill out the Action Form.

If you just wish someone else would act—fill out the Action Form.

And then keep the momentum going:

Join our Discord to talk strategy, share wins, or ask questions in the #collective-action channel. The more we coordinate, the stronger we get.

Now’s the time. Let’s move.
