The Clark College WPEA Leadership Team sent a letter to President Edwards on Friday, May 9th, asking her to take action by contacting the Governor and asking him not to sign a budget that does not include funding for our contracts. To date, we have not received a response. We are being dismissed and ignored.
We need to make it VERY clear that her silence and lack of support is harming staff and the college community.
Escalation:
We are calling on members to help bring visibility to the importance of our work on campus. We have created pre-made signs (PDF), or you can create your own sign (Word document) that you can print at home and post around your office/worksite. If you cannot print at home, please email Courtney Braddock at courtneybraddock.1@gmail.com for a physical copy for your own office/worksite.
