This is a call to action for WPEA members to attend the April 2025 Board of Trustees meeting at 5pm on Wednesday, April 23, either in person or via Zoom.
Issue:
On October 6, 2015, Clark College received a complaint from the Office for Civil Rights stating
“the College is discriminating against students with disabilities, on the basis of disability, by implementing inaccessible electronic and information technologies.”
Now, almost reaching 10 years after the complaint was initially lodged, there are concerns by employees doing the work to remedy the complaint that the college is not fulfilling it obligation to meet compliance. A letter detailing these concerns is attached.
Call To Action:
We are asking members to show up in solidarity with these employees!
