Last month’s off-site lunch at Beardslee was a lot of fun — thank you to everyone who came out and spent time connecting with us. We had great conversation, great food, and a really thoughtful exchange of ideas… so we’re doing it again.
We also wanted to follow up on a few things that came up last time:
- We talked about Revenue Agent workload — an issue that’s been ongoing for years, and one the union continues to push the Employer to meaningfully acknowledge and address. We can’t do it without you! Come hear about how your actions and feedback can help turn the tide.
- We heard about the infamous “Bothell Six” — and truly, that kind of solidarity is one of the strongest tools workers have. It was a highlight to hear how coworkers are showing up for one another. We’d love to meet the full complement of the Bothell Six!
- We spent time talking about what the union actually does, from contract bargaining, to protecting worker rights, to engaging with legislators — and what that work looks like right now.
Since then, there have been some updates we’re looking forward to sharing, and rather than cram that into emails, we’d love to keep the conversation going in person.
So — join us again for a casual off-site lunch, appetizers, and conversation. No agenda, no pressure — just a chance to connect, ask questions, and catch up.
