We’ve received notice that the Freedom Foundation has been contacting members via their work emails. We wanted to reach out and give our members a heads up in case they receive(d) any messages from someone with an email domain of @optouttoday.com.

Please do not utilize the links provided in these emails, and block the sender, as this is not a proper use of our state computers and email. Frankly, we don’t need to give FF any more of our personal information than they already have. There is a process for opting out and you should work directly with WPEA if that’s what you wish to do.

We understand that money is tighter than ever nowadays, and you may be considering opting out of paying union dues as a way to offset that. If you are a dues paying member, and are struggling, please don’t hesitate to reach out to your Steward team. Being an active WPEA member has more perks than most realize and we can help find you resources.
