Retirement can feel distant until it suddenly isn’t. Whether you’re planning to retire in the next few years or simply want to understand your options, WPEA members are invited to a special UNITY Wednesday workshop hosted by the Retired Public Employees Council (RPEC).

During the July 8 UNITY meeting at noon, RPEC will present The Retirement Process for State Workers, covering key retirement steps, important timelines, pension and benefit considerations, and resources available to help state employees prepare for the future.

The session is designed to help members make informed decisions and better understand the retirement process before critical deadlines arrive.

This workshop is open to all WPEA members. Even if retirement is still years away, understanding the process now can help you avoid surprises later and make more confident long-term plans.

A printable flyer with event details and a QR code to join the meeting is available below. Download and share it with coworkers who may benefit from attending. Download Printable Flyer
