We are preparing to return to the bargaining table for the 2026–2028 contract, and before we do, we need to hear directly from you.

Bargaining works best when the priorities we bring forward reflect what members are actually experiencing on the job, not just what we think matters, but what you know matters.

To help guide this next round of negotiations, we’re asking you to complete a short survey that will allow you to:

  • Share what you believe is an acceptable cost-of-living adjustment
  • Flag classifications that may need review or increases
  • Add your workplace improvement priorities
  • Share your own perspective and story in your own words
  • Indicate whether you’re interested in serving on the bargaining team

Take the Survey

The strength of our negotiations depends on how clearly we can demonstrate that our priorities are member-driven and broadly shared. Your responses help us decide where to focus, how hard to push, and how to explain why these issues matter to the state, to the public, and to each other.

The open-ended questions in this survey are especially important. Member stories and explanations are often what make the difference when we are advocating for real change.

Interested in bargaining?

You do not need prior experience to serve on the bargaining team. What matters most is a willingness to listen, participate, and represent your coworkers.

If you want a contract that reflects the realities of your work, this is one of the most important ways to contribute.

Please take a few minutes to complete the survey and share your voice.

In solidarity,

WPEA
