Apology for Miscommunication on Pay Increase

During our recent ratification of the collective bargaining agreement, there was an unfortunate miscommunication on my part. I wanted to let you all know that I am aware of that miscommunication and apologize for any adverse impact of that.

During the ratification vote, WPEA indicated that there was a 10% across the board increase for members. In reality, there was a 10% increase to the current pay scale. This means that not all of our members actually received a 10% increase. This led to some members feeling like the Union was not honest about the pay increase. Because I was the one working on the ratification process, this is my responsibility and failure.
