Range Increases (HE + GG Members) If your classification gets a range increase, you keep your current step in the new range. Example: Range 40 Step D moves to Range 41 Step D. You don’t lose your step placement when a range goes up.
Paid Union Meeting Time (HE Members Only) From July 1, 2025 through June 30, 2027, Higher Education members can take one hour of paid release time per fiscal year to attend a WPEA Classified Staff Meeting. The Union will give at least 30 days’ notice before scheduling. Unless urgent work requirements prevent it, you’ll be approved for this hour to connect with coworkers and your union.
$300 CBA FSA Contribution Toolkit
During 2025 bargaining, an agreement was reached to enhance the employer-paid FSA contribution. Eligible PEBB employees will receive a $300 contribution, with funds distributed by the end of January.
To support Union Representatives, PEBB has created an updated toolkit that explains the benefit and provides shareable resources for members.
Toolkit contents include:
- New hire letter – Share during orientation or welcome packets.
- Navia Benefits Debit Card graphic – Show members what to expect in the mail.
- Shareable messaging – Pre-drafted content for email, social media, or newsletters, with suggested posting times.
- CBA FAQ for members – Common employee questions with clear answers.
- CBA FAQ for union reps – Guidance for representatives, including administration details.
- FSA video – Easy to share during orientations, emails, or online.
- CBA flowchart – Helps employees determine eligibility. Available in horizontal and vertical PDF formats for print or digital use.
